An iPod Touch in a black case with black headphones had been lost. If you happen to know the whereabouts of this iPod, please contact the office.

There will be an information meeting this Friday April 29th in Mr. Coughlan’s room 1128 in regards to a CFL/Pro Kids Football camp being put on by the Saint John Wanderers football club from May 11th to 14th. All interested players should attend.

Congratulations to students who participated in the district Oratorical Competition last night. Julia Belliveau won first place in the Formal speeches and in the illustrated and demonstration category, Sayward Janes placed second and Patrick Belliveau placed third. Congratulations to these students and all the other participants who all did extremely well!

There was an Enviorthon meeting, a Reach for the Top meeting, and a Safe Grad meeting today at noon.

The Sussex Sonics Rugby team opens its season this Saturday at home against RNS at 2:30pm. All students are encouraged to come out and support the boys. The rugby team is reminded of their practice tonight after school. This is the last practice before our season opener.

Are you interested in Environmental Science? The Envirothon team is looking for another member to compete with them in the upcoming competition. INTERESTED? See Mme. Bonnell-Walsh.

All Minor Ball registration is tonight from 6- 9pm at the 8th Hussars Sports Arena.

There was a brief student council meeting and a short boys and girls hockey team meeting today at noon.

Doctor, I’m feeling run down and fatigued lately do you have any solutions? Why yes! Start eating healthy and of course come on out to Girls softball club tonight from 7:15 to 9:00 pm in the SRHS gym.

Anonymous practices this week are – Tuesday at 5:30, Wednesday 5:00, Thursday 6:00, and Friday 8:00.

Any students interested in joining a student team for Relay for Life please go to Ms. Kyle’s room on Wednesday April 27th at 12:20.

Homework Club is held in Room 1135 from 3:30 – 4:30 every Tuesday and Thursday. All students are welcome!

There was a Tech Club meeting and a Safe Grad meeting today at noon.

Track and Field practice on Wednesday April 27th on the track by the middle school after school.

A reminder to all rugby players that there is a practice tonight after school.

There was a Green Club meeting, a drag team meeting, and a softball meeting today at noon.

Softball club has been cancelled for tonight but will resume next Wednesday.

In recognition of Earth Day on April 22nd – we ask that SRHS students wear something green tomorrow.

There will be an important Grad Class meeting on Tuesday April 26th in Mr. Jeffrey’s room right after the noon announcements.

Students in the oratorical competition were asked to stop by Mrs. Klingenberg’s room (2031) at the beginning of lunch to pick up important information.

There will be a meeting for all Green Club members Wednesday after the announcements in Mme Morneault’s room.

Starting Wednesday there will be an Easter Egg Hunt at SRHS. If you find one of the ten eggs, bring it to Mr. Belyea’s classroom at break to collect your prize.

BUY A TICKET – WIN A CAKE! On Wednesday April 20 the SRHS band is selling tickets for $1 at noon in the lobby. The draw for the 7 cakes will be made at the end of the day. Thank you for supporting the band’s trip to the Atlantic Band Fest in Halifax next week.

There was a rugby meeting after the announcements in Mr. Sherwood’s room for all rugby players interested in team jackets. Also a reminder to all players that there’s a practice after school today.

There was a Safe Grad meeting, a Fresh Start Ala-teen meeting and a Tech Club meeting at noon today.

Today your student council gave out free Freezies at noon. Thanks SRC!

Softball Club has been cancelled for this week. We will be going next Wednesday instead.

A huge congratulations to all SRHS students who were in Halifax this weekend for the Millennium dance competition with Step in Time Dance School. Not only did they bring home lots of metals they also brought home the Cup for their production. Way to go everyone. You Rock!

The boys rugby team had a successful start to their season going 1-2 this weekend at Rugby Fest. The boys lost 20-19 to Fundy, defeated James M. Hill 15-14, and lost to Bishop Smith, an unbeaten team from Ontario. Ira Sheasby led this weekend’s attack with two tries and two converts. Bryce Worden & Mike Morrison also scored two tries a piece.. The boys are reminded of today’s practice after school.

There was a Tech Club meeting today at noon.

Softball club tonight from 7:30pm to 9:00pm immediately after the boys volleyball game which starts at 6:00pm.

There was a student council meeting today at noon.

Rugby players are reminded to get their money into Mr. Sherwood as soon as possible.

There will be a very important meeting for all Envirothon members tomorrow right after the announcements in Mme Morneault’s room.

All graduates who submitted baby pictures for the yearbook please pick up your pictures in room 1121 this week.
