Come out to Carr Field at 6:30 p.m. where your Varsity Girls’ Softball Team will be playing their last home game of the season.

The Varsity Boys’ Soccer Team travel to Moncton this weekend for a tournament.

A representative from Saint Thomas University will be here on Wednesday, October 3, during Period 4 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Students interested in helping to plan, set up, and operate school dances are asked to meet in Ms. Cook’s room (2052) on Tuesday, October 3, following the announcements.

Any graduates who would like to help with Safe Grad are asked to meet with Mr. MacKay in Room 2097 after the announcements.

There will be a brief meeting for girls who will be trying out for the high school Girls’ Hockey team today at 12:30 p.m. in Room 1119.

Today is the last day for auditions for Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat. Sign up on the theatre bulletin board. Monday at 3:40 is for all who auditioned–bring dance clothes!

Boys’ Hockey try-outs will start next Monday, October 1, at 10:30 p.m. Please see Mr. Leger for information and waiver forms.

Come to support the Girls’ Field Hockey team tonight as they play a re-scheduled game against Harbor View High!

There will be a brief meeting for any girls trying out for the high school girls’ hockey team tomorrow in Room 1119.

Any girls in Grades 9 to 12 who are interested in playing age class volleyball this fall are asked to attend a meeting on Friday at 12:30 in Mr. Swift’s lab.

Boys’ Hockey tryouts will start next Monday, October 1, at 10:30 p.m. Please see Mr. Leger at lunch today for information and waiver forms.

A representative from Saint FX University will be here to do a presentation during Period 2 on Wednesday, September 26, in Ms. Kyle’s classroom. Please sign up at the Guidance Centre to attend.

For those who love to shop and can’t always afford the prices, the Key Club is selling SPR cards in the lobby in noon!

The Key Club is an awesome student-led volunteer organization that wants you to join the oldest club in Canada right here at our school. Be a part of an amazing “K” family and help shape your community! See us every Monday at noon in Mr. MacEachern’s room.

The Nurse from the Sexual Health Program is in the school today and will be here every Monday.

Boys’ Sonic Baseball practice is today at 5:30 p.m. at the Bantam Field.

The next Varsity Girls’ Soccer home game is Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

The Girls’ Field Hockey Team play again tomorrow at 5:00 p.m.—come out to support the team!

The Varsity Boys’ Soccer Team’s home game is Thursday at 5:30 p.m. vs. St. Macs.

There will be a picture-taking workshop for all Yearbook photographers tomorrow at noon in Room 1121.

SKIFF—the Stephen King Inspired Film Festival is Tuesday and Thursday at noon (12:30 to 1:00 p.m.) in Room 2010. Come out and watch Sonic-made Stephen King films!

All Grads are asked to submit their baby picture to nancy.long, our school secretary, who will forward them along to the Yearbook Committee.

Students, are you a person of character, service, and leadership? Are you curious by nature, do you prioritize results over appearances , and do you value integrity and honesty? Pick up an application in the Guidance Centre for a Loran Award. The applications are due on Wednesday, October 10, in the Guidance Centre.

The Sonics Boys Baseball game has been changed from Monday to Tuesday at 5:30 at the Memorial Field in Saint John.

Need someone to talk to or want to make a difference in our school? We are starting a new club—the Gay Straight Alliance. Anyone can join: Gay, Straight, Bisexual, Transgender. Check out the kiosk in the lobby on Monday at noon then meet in Ms. Kyle’s room (1119) on Tuesday at noon.

The SRHS store will be open once again this Thursday.

There is a Varsity Girls’ Soccer game tonight at 5:30 against Hampton.

Grad ring displays and sales are taking place in the lobby and in the theatre. A $60 deposit is required to order.

Oaktree Photography will be at SRHS on Thursday, October 11, and Friday, October 12, for grad photos. Students may come to the office for information and to sign up.
