Tuesday September 20th 2011

The Sussex Sonics were defeated by SMHS in a very close game that went down to the wire by an 8-6 score. Matt Price pinched 4-2/3 innings of 4 hit ball and was relieved by Brett Norrad who did an excellent job of relief however a few uncharacteristic errors by Sussex allowed SMHS to get back into the game and eventually win. Some strong hitting at the plate by Andrew Gass with 2 singles and 2 runs scored, and there were two- 2 run doubles by both Matt Price and Kyle Patterson. The Sonics are getting stronger and their representation within the league has been noticed by some strong play. The Sonics play their last game today in St Stephen and with a win will pull into 6th place. The Playoffs start Friday and with the way the Sonics are gelling together anything can happen. Go Sonics Go !!!
